How to Download Game, Application Freely To Amazon Kindle

The e-book reader (e-reader) market is becoming hotter months after months since the battle among leading e-book reader makers are more fierce recently. However, when we mention e-book reader, almost people think about Kindle.

In fact, the most successful product in the Amazon ‘s history is continuing dominating e-book reader thanks to its larger ecosystem including convenient payment system, a huge e-book store. Also, Kindle has many advantaged features such as e-ink, cheap, working well on the sun, long battery time span. The price is really friendly compared to other rivals.

As a bookworm, I am really interested in owning a Kindle device. However, my current financial state is not good as expected, so Kindle is still one of my dream. Thanks to recent more friendly offer, I am on the way getting a Kindle in the very short time ahead.

As we all know, whenever we want to get new ebooks on our Kindle, we have to pay to get it on Amazon store. Amazon provides a range of free ebooks though, there is not many books you are really caring. But there is a very great news for Kindle owners probably they have not known: Amazon also offers various mini game and free application in order to help bookworm relax few minutes after a long run of reading. Many of popular games such as Blackjack, Puzzles, Poker… are completely free of charge. However, there is a difficulty in the story. Amazon only allows US account to download and install games freely.

I think, it is quite unfair, dear Mr BIG! Amazon should treat all theirs customers as best as they can. I do not find any reasons that let Amazon “prevent” outside customers download games and some application as US customers do.

Fortunately, recently I came across a forum and found a very useful tip. The nice guy written the post mentioned that we can easily download install games and application to Kindle without worry about our location. In this article I will try to mention you the handy tip.

This tutorial only applies to Kindle 2.0 and later and devices that have already upgraded into the 2.5 firmware version. You need to register your Kindle with the same account on Amazon.

Step by step to install game and application on Kindle outside US.

1. Firstly, you have to access Manage your Kindle category on Amazon.com. Just login at the following link. Use the same email and password you have used to register your Kindle.

2. You will then be navigated to the managing page as the image below.

3. Choose Country Setting in the left and hit the Change button in the Action column in the middle of the screen.

4. At this step, you have to fill up a real address in the U.S. The more details, the better it would. You can use Google to find some US address. No worry about and related legal problem. Herein City, State and Zip all need to be correct.

5. In the next step, everything tobe very easy. Just fill the game/apps name you want to download in the search box (for instance :blackjack). The application will then appear instantly. Choose it to install. You will find many other free games Amazon suggests. Choose any you want.

6. After choosing, to get them into your device, you can use 2 ways in the right column. Amazon can send them directly to your Kindle via Wifi or you can download them to PC and install later. Hit the Buy Now button. No worry, they are free so you will not be charged for sure.

7. At this step, just press the Continue button in case you have only one Kindle. The download box will then appear, just choose Save to download the file (.azw2 extension) to your PC (We are choosing the 2nd opinions).

8.The last step is very easy now. You can install these games or applications on your Kindle by connecting your Kindle with PC and copy these .azw2 files into the Documents folder of the eReader device.

9. Then, the applications or games will be on the Home of your Kindle! It is easy but quite useful indeed! If you have any comment, please share with my readers.
