Time goes by fast and all of us has just been in August for few hours. Fall is coming very soon and now is the time to school back. In my case, there will be more expected drawbacks along with opportunities, both in routine work, blogging career and further studying.
This article will be an unusual one since I, for the first time, will cover some break-down about StarBlogger in July 2011. My blog has gradually reached more new milestone, day after day. That is the reason I would like to share with you guys. Thanks a lots for your support in the past month and I hope time to come, you will continue one part of our community!
Last month is not a good one as I expected because I have been in stuck with a long-span working trip which took me more than a full week to finish. I could not concentrate on my blog and produced more articles than the total 17 ones. Nevertheless, thanks to some past effort in generating the most quality content as I could, StarBlogger still gained more milestones, both in term of traffic and other factors.
Traffic Stats
In July 2011, my blog attracted more than 80.953 visits in which there is total 74,186 absolute Unique Visitors with 109,856 Pageviews . I say “more than” due to Google Analytics did not count 3 days in July which was resulted from my switching from Thesis to Genesis ‘ effect. I forgot to insert Google Analytics ‘s tracking code into the new them Focus.
I will not give more breakdown here since it could make you remind me the wordy habit but in short, more than 70 % visitors coming to my blog were driven from search engines, mostly by Google.
New theme Focus Genesis
My blog has reached better milestone in the previous month, but these are not the most important things in my mind. If you follow my blog till date, perhaps you will see the most dramatic change in StarBlogger is its interface. Some of my friends said the Thesis, the previous theme I had used, was good at SEO capacity, but my customization version was too ugly. That was why I want to made a big deal in my home with an alternative Genesis, which is becoming so popular today with its SEO capacity and the availability of many nice childtheme as Focus I am using.
The story will not end soon since I feel Genesis is one of the smartest choice I have made so far in blogging trip. Not only does it rock my blog with a beautiful interface but more important, it let my blog into a new rank of SEO capacity. Let observe the picture above, you will see Genesis has doubled my traffic from 2+ k daily to nearly 4+ each day. I check the SEO score of my blog and quite happy with an amazing figure: 91/100. Of course, the wonderful traffic in July also depended on the new content I generated and some other SEO plugins I used. That will be a new coverage in the coming time.

Yeah, I am trying some other monetizing ways as I know I can’t depend on Adsense in long term. Why don’t you try a CPM program here, it could bring you a few more hundreds with the amazing traffic.
The Alexa rank has no link to your visits. I’ve seen a lot of sites in the top Alexa 50k have less than 20k visits each month. Targeting US & Indian readers is probably the best way to optimize the rank.

Yeah man! I have few keywords on the top Google Search Index. However, the direct traffic is also awesome! I have drawn a noticeable conclusion that the more worth content we deliver, the more stable traffic and loyal readers we will get!
I see your new blog is quite wonderful, particularly the article, almost they are covered in depth! Keep your work man, I think one day soon you will get more loyal readers and then money!

I certainly agree with you! Although the blogoshere is crowded now but you know technology and new idea, product coming each day, so unless we are not able to product nice review, tutorial in depth or so, we can generate a stable passive income.
