Blog speed is one of the highly crucial metric Google uses to rank your content on the search index result. The speed of one site or blog depends on a range of factors such as hosting service provider you are using, traffic, how many plugins your blog installs etc… If you are looking for a surefire way to increase your blog, I highly suggest you to use a reliable CDN service, use less plugins as much as possible. Also, you should use a stable hosting such as Hostgator or upgrade into an affordable VPS package. Wow, you will probably be surprised when hearing the new phrase: “Google CDN service”, like me. What can Google CDN do?
If you follow my blog, you probably have ever heard about Page Speed Online Test which Google provides freely for webmasters and blogger who want to check theirs sites or blogs’ speed. This service will value your blog ‘s speed and grant it a particular score within the 100 range.
Time goes by fast and now, we are happy to get news from Google related to this service. From now onwards, Google will gradually offer a premium but affordable CDN service under the name Page Speed Service. I use the word “gradually” because the service is still limited, you need to wait few weeks ahead.
Google CDN service, or in another way to call: Page Speed Service will work in the same way other CDN service do. It will automatically increase your blog speed by compressing images, on your blog which is naturally stored and distributed by the “default” hosting server. Also, Google CDN will grip some other resources, concatenate the CSS file and cache your blog as well. When deploy Google CDN, almost content on your blog will be distributed by Google servers located around the world, instead of the original server your blog is hosted.
There is a common principle with all CDN service: It fetch the content on your blog, re-configure it and distribute the readers by the server, nearest to the them, even in Asia or Africa.

Currently, Page Speed Service has not been opened up, but you can sign up via a simple form and wait for until Google officially notifies you. Google said their service will speed your blog up to 25% to 60%, depending on some other factors.
I hope Page Speed Service will be available soon since I see it is really worth to try. Also, it is quite easy to configure. More one thing: It will be very benefit to all bloggers if Page Speed Service ‘s price is competitive and affordable. And you, how about your idea?
