Although there are many free online music portals and services, Spotify, an on-demand music service is still considered one of leader in the market. Recently, after a long time of planning, this service has just made it début in U.S, one of the highest demand market.
Nevertheless, Spotify has not officially publicized and you need to have an invite to register an account at this online music service. If you are waiting for a Spotify ‘s invitation so far, you are not alone. Here in my article, not only do you are able to grab a Spotify account with free and available invite but also get some useful tips while using it.
As I mentioned above, nowadays there are thousand ways to listen to music thanks to many devices and platforms, from iPod, smartphone to tablet, netbook and so on. First appearance in 2008, Spotify quickly became a phenomenon and currently are changing the way we taste music, particularly regarding the new albums and release. There is no reason to stop landing their foot on other region, specially the largest market U.S. That is why Spotify has tried to negotiate with partners so far and now has successfully been available in America.
There is a barrier, however. If you are living in U.S, you have to purchase a premium or unlimited account. Normally, an unlimited account that provides ad-free service costs you $4.99-per-month. For more flexible and higher features offer, you can use a premium account with $9.99 each month. Otherwise, you need to have an invite to register an add-supported service account there.
4 Ways To get a Spotify invite
Although you have to take some steps, it is easy to look for a Spotify invite and enjoy free million tracks there. After 30 minutes of searching and analyse, I have found some fast and easy ways to get Spotify invite.
1. Request an invite from friends using Share Spotify feature
This is the most easy way to get an account there. If one of your friend have already been here, you can ask him or her for a share. This online service allows users to share service by inviting others. Here is what looks like. Sorry, however I am running out of invite.
2. Get an invite from Klout ‘s offer
This is a nice tiny tip from Techcrunch. The most crowded technology blog reported an other easy way to get a Spotify invite. To get started, you can visit this link and authorize your social network accounts including Twitter or Facebook. According to TechCrunch, you must have a high scores in topics in entertainment field or so to get an invite. I am not sure whether this method is difficult or not but I think you can easily find any answer on… Google! I do not recommend you use this way, but it is acceptable if other opportunities have already run out.
3. Request an invite from Coca-Cola and Motorola!
You might be surprised while reading this heading. Luckily it works and still be available. In fact, both Coca-cola and Motorola are not relevant in any way with Spotify. By offering free Spotify invite, probably they are running a marketing campaign.
I have luckily registered one account at Spotify after waiting only few hour from Motorola. I do not know how many invite left but you can try to grab one there. As far as I know, Motorola has total 10.000 invites.
4. Register a UK account then changing the country into US
That is a handy trick from Lifehacker. The guys there mentioned an easy way to grab a Spotify account without worry about invite.
The principle is: by using a proxy (daveproxy or so) , you can register an Spotify UK account. Then access you profile and change the country to U.S. Just simple as you might think. (Someone said the service provider no longer allows users to change their country).
After you have an account there, just download the Spotify app, log in and start listening to music with newest album. I will write more detailed and discuss some tips while using wonderful service in the next post.
